At Betterez (now part of Terra Mobility), we were thrilled to participate in Expo Foro Canapat 2024, held in Mexico City from February 28th to March 1st. This biennial event brought together Bus industry leaders and enthusiasts from across the globe, offering us an invaluable opportunity to showcase our commitment to the ground travel market and highlight our role as a leader in Mexico’s Bus industry.

This being our first Expo Foro, we were pleased with our booth’s location and the resulting opportunity to showcase our latest solutions for passenger long and middle distance sales & inventory management, eCommerce, Revenue Management, and online travel agency (OTA) ticket distribution. At the booth, we were able to meet several new customers, as well as other Bus industry product companies.
Just as rewarding was the opportunity to meet our current customers while at Expo Foro, as part of why we wanted to participate in the conference was to demonstrate our commitment to the Mexico Bus industry. Terra Mobility has been operating in Mexico since 2017, and Busbud from 2013, but we’re just getting started! We continue to tailor our platform and Business-2-Consumer products to the Mexico & LATAM markets as well as grow our Mexico based team and establish additional infrastructure. Customers could see our commitment at the booth and have confidence we’re here for the long term.
Throughout the event, members of our team, including Liliana Alvarez, Commercial Manager for Mexico, Fernanda Garcia, Marketing Manager, Jazmin Badillo, Project Manager and Mike Van Horn, Senior VP were present at the booth, engaging with visitors and highlighting the value we bring to the industry. Additionally, Simon Narli, Co-Founder of Recorrido, joined us, further reinforcing the end-to-end technology solutions provided by Terra Mobility.

Liliana Alvarez, Mexico Commercial Manager, reflected on the event:
“I am delighted by the outstanding reception we received at Expo Foro Canapat 2024. From networking on the floor, to software demonstrations at the booth to Operator dinners our team's efforts have yielded significant results for continued growth.”
Reflecting on our participation at Expo Foro, we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for Terra Mobility in Mexico. Further as a global company, with multi-tenant solutions we’re able to showcase best practices from Mexico into our software helping other bus companies around the world, thus adding value to the Bus & Coach Industry as a whole, and contributing to such goals as getting more people out of cars and advancing Bus as the leader in sustainable travel and transportation.
Where will we be next? Guatemala City at the Chamber of International Transportation’s 38th General Assembly. Terra Mobility will be speaking on leading practices in Reservations Software to support international cross border passenger travel.
