Empowering diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI): Betterez’ commitment to driving positive change in the bus industry.

From our earliest days, Betterez (now part of Terra Mobility) has embraced diversity as a core value. We celebrate and welcome individuals from various backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We firmly believe that an inclusive environment drives innovation, fosters growth, and empowers individuals to reach their full potential. In this blog post, we highlight an exciting milestone in our commitment to championing diversity within our organization and the bus industry.

Terra Mobility strives to provide an environment where all team members feel respected, valued, and heard. This inclusivity extends to decision-making processes, work assignments, and professional development opportunities. Additionally, Terra Mobility is playing a key role in Busbud’s continued DEI approach.

As part of our diversity commitment, Terra Mobility is proud to support one of our team members, Fernanda Garcia (Terra Mobility Marketing Manager) to be actively involved in the American Bus Association‘s Women in Buses Council, and we are thrilled to share the news that Ms. Garcia has recently been appointed as the Vice Chair of Marketing for the ABA’s Women in Buses Council for a two-year term.

As the Vice Chair of Marketing, Fernanda will play an important role in advancing the council’s objectives and initiatives. Her appointment is a noteworthy milestone in Terra Mobility commitment to empowering women in the bus industry. Fernanda’s efforts will contribute significantly to the WIB council’s marketing initiatives, amplifying its reach and impact in promoting DEI in bus.

Since joining Terra Mobility in 2021, Fernanda has managed Terra Mobility B2B platform marketing activities across LinkedIn, Facebook [for LATAM], Account Based Marketing, Capterra, numerous external press releases, numerous internal and current client communications, and website updates. More recently she has launched a Marketing Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) service specifically tailored for Bus Operators, recently helping the startup Gorelaxsan to market and promote their new LAX shuttle through content creation, social channels and email marketing.

In summary, at Terra Mobility we are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and we’re excited about our continued efforts to make a meaningful impact. Having Fernanda Garcia as part of the Women in Buses Council leadership team brings us great anticipation as she actively helps drive positive change within the industry.
