Betterez (now part of Terra Mobility) is excited to announce a multi-year platform subscription agreement with Limousine Express marking another milestone in its Bus industry leadership and Mexico expansion. Limousine Express has its base of operations along the Baja, Southern U.S. (Vegas, California, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas), and also serves passengers from Cross Border Xpress, the innovative cross border Tijuana Airport terminal.
Throughout the Summer, the Terra Mobility and Limousines’ team worked closely to confirm business requirements, configure and test the platform and as of September 2023, Limousine Express is now live, utilizing several key features, including:
- Multi-currency: Passengers can now seamlessly buy, change, cancel, and manage tickets in both USD and Mexican Pesos, enhancing the cross-border travel experience.
- Connections & Transfers: Limousines manages long distance journeys in its own network as well as with partner bus companies. The TerraOS (formerly Betterez) connections engine will support the company to more easily configure total journey times and connection times to offer its passengers a more predictable, pleasant travel experience.
- Revenue Management: Limousines will utilize the TerraOS Revenue Management module, providing the ability to increase yields, margins, and customize its offerings, in order to provide its customers, the right product, at the right time at the right price.
TerraOS API First platform is also key for Limousine Express as the company wants to expand 3rd party sales and launch new services, to include multi-modal integrated products with their partners.
As a next phase of the partnership, Limousines is evaluating an integrated eCommerce solution that Terra Mobility is now able to offer its customers. This innovative eCommerce service not only includes the website and online sales but also SEO/SEM, customer service and feedback, payments & reconciliation, and refund and fraud management.
The TerraOS platform is exponentially scalable from large global ground transport companies to small startups with one route who just want to start selling online. Today, Terra Mobility works with international and regional bus leaders in Mexico such as Grupo Senda, Mobility ADO, Autobuses Albatros, and now Limousine Express, among others.
